The Jacksonville Renaissance
I create generative wealth
Generative wealth IS Sharing.
INow IS the only time a gift can be watched.
A gift left for someday reaches a city you will never see. A gift given now lets you watch it take root: the trade learned, the first lease signed, the young family that decided to stay.
Every year a young person can't find a doorway here, they build their life somewhere else. The dreams are already in Jacksonville. What they are waiting for is someone who chooses to open a door while they can still walk through it with them.
Some give from the overflow. Some give from the flow.
A retiree gives from savings that will outlast them. A surgeon, a founder or a contractor at forty gives from this year's paycheck, and gets thirty more years to watch it grow. Both are generative.See what you can give now.
Two ways in. Either way, your family's own future is paid for first. The figures are an example household. Put in your own.
For people still working. We take your pay, your spending and what you're already saving for your own future, and show the margin left over each year. You choose how much of it to give.
- Your own saving comes first. If you're not sure it's enough, ask a planner before you give. The other door shows what "enough" looks like once you stop working.
- Totals are in today's dollars and assume your pay keeps pace with inflation. No investment growth is counted on the gifts.
- Gifts to a charity or a donor-advised fund may lower your taxes, which can make the real cost smaller than the gift. A CPA can tell you by how much.
For people with savings built. We fund every year of your life to 95 first, protect a safety net and your children's share, and show what is left. That remainder is yours to give now.
Living expenses, a safety cushion and a care reserve. Social Security not included
- This doesn't include Social Security, which typically pays a retired worker about $24,000 a year (roughly $2,000 a month). Whatever it pays you is extra margin on top of these numbers.
- Expenses rise with inflation every year and don't drop after the first spouse passes. A 4% return against 3% inflation leaves 1% of real growth, which is deliberately cautious.
- Taxes on withdrawals belong in the expense number. This is a planning picture, not financial, tax or legal advice. A fee-only planner should confirm it before anyone gives.
Earning and holding savings? Run both doors. What each one shows can be given on its own.
IIIShare the abundance.
Save your numbers as a PDF and bring them to the people you'll decide with: your spouse, your children, your planner.
Nothing you type here is stored. The PDF is yours alone.
Saving a PDF works on the live site, not inside this preview.
Bring this to your clients.
- Run their numbers here. Enter the family's ages, savings and spending. Nothing is stored.
- Save the PDF. It holds every number you ran, ready to walk through with the family.
- Send it from your own email, so it stays inside your firm's records.
- Want a branded version for your practice? Reach out and we'll set you up with Generative Jax, including a way to introduce clients to Dreaming of Better.

Dreaming of Better.
Jacksonville is full of people with a dream for this city: a business, a program, a place, a gathering. Dreaming of Better brings those dreams into the light so the people who can help them can find them.
Dreamers share what they would build for Jacksonville.
People with something to give help fund a dream they believe in.
The dream takes root, and the city gets to watch it grow.
This is where your number goes to work. Put what is beyond enough behind a dream, mentor a dreamer, or open a door.
That's how it starts.
Thank you for dreaming with us. We'll be in touch with what comes next — because the only time is now.
The best inheritance IS a hometown.
Money gets spent. A city worthy of their dreams keeps giving. That means homes they can afford, work worth doing, room to start something and a place to raise their own kids. That's the inheritance we're building, one dream at a time.
VI"I create generative wealth."
The only time is now. The dream you help today is the city your grandkids inherit tomorrow.
